Where the Magic Begins

Mckenna Would Be Proud

I believe we have the power to create the world we want to live in. A world built upon spiritual awakening and fueled by collaborative creation. We are capable of so much magic, and yet many of us have fallen into mindless routines. We’ve forgotten how to dream, how to use our imaginations, and how to open our eyes and really see. My good friend Phil has joined forces with his friend Sam to take on the task of waking America up, if only for a moment, with a series of projects. They are calling it, Yes, This is Possible.

Meet the guys:

From the website:

Yes, This is Possible.

Yes, this is possible? Yes. For example, it’s possible to play Settlers of Catan in a suit and tie and a cow costume in Arches National Park, Utah. Yes, it’s possible to change lives with a board game. Our mission is to take people off auto-pilot. We plan to do this with projects like this one. If you are still confused, make up your own answers.

Last night, I saw the moon

There’s something about moonlight.
It’s like daylight
But it’s not.
It is a reflection of the sun
A receiver
An illuminator
A woman’s light.
It warms me, as the sun does
But from the inside.
I feel my legs strengthened
As I stand firmly in place
And my womb roots itself at my base.
My body loves me.
I can feel the divine energy of my being
My woman’s spirit
And at this time, my own new moon
A beautiful cycle
A reminder of my true nature
One I can never forget or disguise.
This must be a gift.
Rays cascade across me, and into me
Flecks of silver light shimmer
Not only on my skin, but in the air, on every leaf
Across the horizon.
Light reaches everywhere.
She has created her own space
Her own time
And she seems to be looking only upon me.
What wisdom can you share, Mother Moon?
What will you?
